The Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families awarded $370,000 to Violence Free Minnesota under the Family Violence Prevention and Services/State Domestic Violence Coalitions program (CFDA 93.591) on October 1, 2025. Violence Free Minnesota, a statewide domestic violence and sexual assault coalition headquartered in St. Paul, delivers coordination and technical assistance to domestic violence service providers across Minnesota, serves as an information clearinghouse and primary point of contact on domestic violence for the state, and supports the development of policies, protocols, and procedures to enhance domestic violence intervention and prevention. The award funds coalition activities including coordinating statewide victim services, providing training and technical assistance to member organizations, conducting statewide workshops for victim advocates and criminal justice representatives, and coordinating at federal and state levels to develop enhanced strategies addressing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The period of performance runs from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2027. Place of performance is Minnesota.
