The Michigan Coalition To End Domestic And Sexual Violence (MCADSV) received a $367,379 Formula Grant award from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) under the State Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalitions Program (CFDA 16.556). This grant supports MCADSV's critical work to coordinate statewide domestic and sexual violence services, advocate for policies, and enhance the capabilities of local service providers in Michigan.
Grant funds will enable MCADSV to provide training, technical assistance, and public awareness campaigns focused on preventing and responding to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. MCADSV will also facilitate coordination between federal, state, and local entities engaged in violence against women initiatives. As the designated statewide coalition, MCADSV will leverage this funding to deliver a range of victim services, including civil and criminal legal assistance, programs for those with disabilities, and emergency operational support for local providers. The grant period runs from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
