THE ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF THIS PROGRAM INCLUDE PREVENTING DEGRADATION OF UNIMPAIRED WATERBODIES AND REDUCING THE NUMBER OF IMPAIRED WATERBODIES ON TRIBAL LANDS. ACTIVITIES:ACTIVITIES INCLUDE REGULAR GRANT MANAGEMENT AND SUCCESSFUL MANAGEMENT OF A CLEAN WATER ACT SECTION 106 PROGRAM. COLI, AND DISCHARGE; INVENTORY AND ASSESSMENT OF WETLANDS; HABITAT ASSESSMENT AND BIOLOGICAL MONITORING; AND PROGRAMMATIC REPORTING OF DATA AND RESULTS. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE ANNUAL WATER QUALITY ASSESSMENT REPORTS, AN UPDATED MONITORING STRATEGY, WATER QUALITY DATA UPLOADED TO WQX, AND REGULAR GRANT REPORTING DOCUMENTS. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE NATION AND USEPA; CONSISTENT AND SUCCESSFUL OPERATION OF THE SURFACE WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM; IDENTIFICATION OF POSSIBLE SOURCES OF IMPAIRMENT; DATA ASSESSMENT; COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE WATER RELATED REGULATIONS; INCREASED PROGRAMMATIC KNOWLEDGE; DATA COLLECTION AND ASSESSMENT AS INPUTS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT; EVALUATION OF SURFACE WATER AND WETLAND RESOURCES; UNDERSTANDING OF THE MACROINVERTEBRATE COMMUNITIES IN STREAM RESOURCES AS IT PERTAINS TO WATER QUALITY. DIRECT BENEFICIARIES OF THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT INCLUDE RESIDENTS OF THE HO-CHUNK NATION.
