To effectively manage the university support grant program

The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs awarded a $325,000 Cooperative Agreement to Kosovo United States Alumni (KUSA), a registered non-profit organization, under the AEECA/ESF Public Diplomacy Programs (CFDA 19.900). This grant aims to effectively manage the University Support Grant Program, overseeing the process from the initial announcement to the final reporting, ensuring seamless coordination and oversight. KUSA, which specializes in public diplomacy, educational exchange, and civic engagement programs in Kosovo and the Western Balkans, will use the funding to facilitate connections between Kosovo and the United States through various initiatives supporting youth leadership, higher education, cultural exchange, and professional development. Specific grant-funded activities include cybersecurity awareness campaigns, professional mentoring for university students, initiatives to counter brain drain, programs promoting interethnic reconciliation, and efforts to engage alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs.

From the initial announcement of the call for proposals to the comprehensive final report, the aim is to ensure seamless coordination and oversight.
