Colorado sbdc portable assistance

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded a $100,000 Cooperative Agreement to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), operating as the Colorado Office of Business Development, through the SBA's Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) program (CFDA 59.037). This funding will support the delivery of management counseling, training, and technical assistance services to small businesses and entrepreneurs across Colorado over the one-year award period from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. As the lead SBDC organization for the state, OEDIT will leverage this federal grant to provide a range of services through the Colorado SBDC network, including one-on-one business advising, market research, export support, and access to capital guidance. OEDIT also plans to collaborate with the City of Lakewood's economic development office, a sub-recipient of the grant, to extend the reach and impact of these federally funded small business support initiatives throughout Colorado communities.
