Description
The study will primarily support existing efforts to expand the overmountain victory national historic trail (ovnht) in cherokee county by alleviating concerns about public safety and by helping to obtain legal access on private property for future ovnht trail segments. The experiences of the nearby existing trails will inform the discussions with citizens and property owners in the ovnht corridor. When the study is complete the results will be made publicly available allowing other partners in the region to capitalize on the information to assist their local trail implementation efforts.
