Description

The goal of this task agreement is to complete preservation-focused tasks on the historic larrieu cabin, including: (1) apply sealant to subflooring and finish final flooring, (2) analyze roofing needs, (3) prepare structural stabilization of beams for repair, (4) replace and repair roofing, and (5) assess needs for further structural stabilization of building in general. These tasks will stabilize this cabin, which provides visitors a rare opportunity to understand a post-depression, pre-suburban ERA when rough-and-scrabble mining enterprises, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and self-reliance were the keys to survival.
