NESTING BIRD ACTIVITY WILL BE DOCUMENTED TO GUIDE MITIGATIONS AND AVOIDANCE MEASURES TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE MIGRATORY BIRD TREATY ACT AND THE BALD AND GOLDEN EAGLE PROTECTION ACT DURING FUELS MANAGEMENT ACTIONS THAT MAY OCCUR DURING THE BIRD NESTING SEASON. DOCUMENTED BIRD SPECIES AND NEST DISTRIBUTIONS WILL GUIDE APPROPRIATE TIMING OF FUELS TREATMENTS TO ENSURE BOTH THE PROTECTION OF NESTING BIRDS AND EFFICIENT COMPLETION OF FUELS MANAGEMENT PROJECTS.
