THIS PROJECT AGREEMENT PROVIDES A VEHICLE TO HELP NATIONAL PARK UNITS WITH CONSERVATION AND OUTDOOR RECREATION PROJECTS WHILE ENCOURAGING PARTNERS WITH SHARED GOALS TO PARTICIPATE AND LEVERAGE NON-FEDERAL DOLLARS TO MATCH ONPS DOLLARS. THIS PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE NPS AND THE RECIPIENT PROVIDES AN EFFICIENT MODEL FOR IDENTIFYING AND FUNDING PROJECTS THAT BENEFIT NATIONAL PARKS, NATIONAL TRAILS, AND WILD AND SCENIC RIVERS. THE GOAL IS TO REACH OUT TO A BROAD AUDIENCE OF QUALIFIED ORGANIZATIONS, SUPPORTING AND CONTRIBUTING TO NPS CONSERVATION, OUTDOOR RECREATION AND STEWARDSHIP PROJECTS WHILE ACHIEVING MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP GOALS.
