Description

The renovations to baltimore national heritage area s chesapeake gateways interpretive waysides project replaces the graphic panels on seven existing low profile cantilevered wayside bases along the star spangled banner national historic trail in the inner harbor and harbor east fells point neighborhoods of baltimore city. The current waysides have faded and have become unreadable. The new laminate panels (24 x 32 ) will be edited to correct outdated information and RE installed on original bases. By providing updated interpretation in highly visited areas, these signs have the potential to reach over 500,000 people each year, thereby engaging visitors and communities in shared environmental, natural, historic, and cultural stewardship.
