The Maricopa County Department of Public Health was awarded a $1,339,555 cooperative agreement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the Public Health Emergency Response: Cooperative Agreement for Emergency Response (CFDA 93.354) program. The goal of this project is to work with the CDC to rapidly mobilize, surge, and respond to public health emergencies occurring in Arizona. The award supports strategies to strengthen incident management, jurisdictional recovery, biosurveillance, information management, countermeasures and mitigation, and surge management.
