Description
Flee, a natural-human system model, can help NOAA and NHC better understand the complex connections between forecasts, decision-making, and evacuation outcomes. In doing so, flee can support key decision makers to improve evacuation planning and success. Goals support NOAA, NHC, and the weather community by (a) using flee to evaluate the impact of forecast changes on evacuation success; (B) running evacuation scenarios for NHC to support evacuation order decisions; (C) expanding flees capacity to use different types of forecast information; (D) advancing flees potential for real-time use.
