Icmp staff will identify partners and potential projects that align with BIL funding and support the state and its partners in the development of federal grant proposals and award reporting. The project manager will also support the development, management and progress of proposals for noaas annual CZM BIL habitat restoration competition. For projects awarded BIL competitive funds, the project manager will provide technical assistance, nepa review, assistance with pre and post project monitoring, reporting and track funds. CMP will support conceptual planning and engineering for a shoreline naturalization and habitat restoration project in chicago. The planning project will be led by the chicago department of transportation in partnership with greencorps chicago. Cmps support will bring the project to at least 30% engineering in order to be more shovel ready for future federal BIL restoration funding opportunities.
