Specific outcomes identified by the recipient include and are not limited to the following: support research, extension, education, and communication activities that increase understanding and stewardship of coastal and marine resources in hawaii and the pacific region. Enhance fundamental understanding of coastal resources by providing tangible solutions to priority issues and needs facing our coastal communities and developing new products, services, and sustainable practices that conserve resources, habitats, and biological diversity for future generations.
