Description

The foundation is nimble and can act swiftly and strategically to address immediate and future conservation needs for the narw. The first year of this partnership will focus on administering a request for proposals to support the development, use, and testing of innovative fishing gear technologies. As additional funding is identified from NOAA, federal, corporate, or philanthropic partners, this partnership will have the flexibility to support sub-awards addressing additional narw conservation issues such as vessel collisions, dynamic area monitoring, and other needs, depending on the focus of the partners and funding.
