THE MCGOVERN-DOLE LRP PROGRAM AIMS TO STRENGTHEN LOCAL AND REGIONAL PROCUREMENT IN FOOD-INSECURE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE CONSUMPTION OF LOCALLY PRODUCED FOOD AND STRENGTHEN LOCAL VALUE CHAINS AND ASSOCIATED PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES.
