THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT IS TO REDUCE THE RISK AND IMPACT OF WILDFIRE IN BLAINE, CAMAS, CASSIA, GOODING, JEROME, LINCOLN, MINIDOKA, AND TWIN FALLS COUNTIES THROUGH WILDFIRE PROTECTION PLANNING, HAZARDOUS FUELS REDUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING, MITIGATION PROGRAMS, PUBLIC EDUCATION, AND ENHANCING LOCAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.THIS AGREEMENT WILL EXPAND OPPORTUNITIES TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON COMBUSTIBLE VEGETATION MANAGEMENT, STRUCTURAL IGNITION PREVENTION, AND SURVIVABLE SPACE.
