COORDINATE OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATIONS AMONG NSGIC 3DEP STAKEHOLDERS.3. PARTICIPATE IN FEDERAL 3DEP WORKING GROUPS AND COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE AS REQUESTED BY USGS.4. FACILITATE COORDINATION WITH ALLIED COMMUNITIES SUCH AS THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF STATE GEOLOGISTS (AASG) AND THE NATIONAL TRIBAL GIS COUNCIL (NTGISC).5. MANAGE AND MAINTAIN THE ONLINE NSGIC 3DEP FOR THE NATION INFORMATION HUB AS A COLLABORATIVE WORKSPACE.6. ASSIST STATE AND REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING 3DEP DATA UPDATE, MANAGEMENT, AND DISTRIBUTION STRATEGIES THAT FACILITATE DATA ACCESS AND USE.7. ASSIST STATE AND REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF 3DEP OUTREACH AND EDUCATION MATERIALS.8. ASSIST STATE AND REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS IN THE APPLICATION OF 3DEP DATA TO ADDRESS ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC ISSUES.9. MANAGE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS THAT BUILD UPON THE FINDINGS OF THE 3D NATION ELEVATION REQUIREMENTS STUDY AND ADDRESS STATE AND REGIONAL 3DEP ACQUISITION AND IMPLEMENTATION ISSUES.PRIMARY OBJECTIVES INCLUDE INCREASING ELEVATION DATA KNOWLEDGE AND USE AMONG STAKEHOLDERS COMPILING INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATA REFRESH NEEDS THAT SUPPORT STATE-WIDE PLANNING AND INFORMING AND ENGAGING STATE AND REGIONAL ELEVATION DATA STAKEHOLDERS, AND THEIR PRIVATE SECTOR PARTNERS, IN EXPLORING STRATEGIES, BEST PRACTICES, AND RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM MANAGEMENT, QUALITY, AND APPLICATION OF 3DEP DATA.
