THIS AGREEMENT WILL PROVIDE $10,000.00 TO WATERSHED MANAGEMENT GROUP TO WORK WITH A PRIVATE LANDOWNER TO ENHANCE HABITAT FOR MIGRATORY BIRDS. THE LANDOWNER, RECIPIENT, AND USFWS WILL SIGN A SUB-RECIPIENT LANDOWNER AGREEMENT TO IDENTIFY WORK THAT WILL IMPROVE HABITAT TO BENEFIT FEDERAL TRUST SPECIES. THE SUB-RECIPIENT LANDOWNER AGREEMENT WILL INCLUDE A PROJECT NARRATIVE AND BUDGET. THE RECIPIENT WILL OVERSEE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LANDOWNER AGREEMENT. THIS PROJECT WILL WORK TO ENHANCE RIPARIAN HABITAT THROUGH VARIOUS TECHNIQUES ON PRIVATE LAND. THE PRACTICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, INSTALLING EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES INSTALLING CATTLE EXCLUSION FENCE PLANTING NATIVE VEGETATION, AND INSTALLING IN-STREAM STRUCTURES. THIS PROJECT WILL BENEFIT A WHOLE SUITE OF WILDLIFE SPECIES INCLUDING VARIOUS MIGRATORY BIRDS, INVERTEBRATES, LISTED SPECIES SUCH AS YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, MONARCH BUTTERFLY, AND HUACHUCA WATER UMBEL.
