CAVNESS RANCH HAS APPROXIMATELY 180 ACRES OFPRAIRIE SOILS WHICH WAS UTILIZED FOR CHRISTMAS TREE PRODUCTION THROUGH A LEASE. 90 ACRES HAVE BEEN RESTORED TOMEDIUMQUALITY PRAIRIE WHILE ANOTHER 55 HAVE BEEN RECENTLY RETIRED FROM THE AGRICULTURAL LEASE.
