The Minnesota Sharp-Tailed Grouse Society, Inc., a non-profit organization, has been awarded a $157,500 Cooperative Agreement from the U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service's Partners for Fish and Wildlife program (CFDA 15.631). The funding will be used to deliver cost-share assistance to private landowners in Minnesota for the restoration and enhancement of wetland and upland habitats. Through this agreement, the Minnesota Sharp-Tailed Grouse Society anticipates supporting 15-20 private landowner projects and restoring approximately 150 acres of habitat over the 3-year project period from August 1, 2023 to December 1, 2026.
