Description

Additionally, the project will have direct benefits to migratory bird species, specifically the endangered dusky canada goose (branta canadensis occidentalis). As access to hunting opportunities is increased for marginalized communities, including bipoc communities, more americans become connected to their natural areas and become invested in the health of migratory bird populations. More people will learn about the biology and natural history of the dusky canada goose and passionate about its conservation.
