This is also a shared mission of DU. USFWS and DU have an established conservation partnership that has successfully restored and enhanced wetland and grassland habitat in wisconsin. Both parties agree that personnel are a limiting factor in the delivery of conservation across the landscape. Increasing staff capacity with NAWCA grant administration and tracking experience, and wetland and upland restoration expertise is needed to meet the needs of both organizations. These specialized staff will be critically important to the restoration and management of wetland habitats.goal: increase water level management capabilities to improve habitat conditions for priority species in sheboygan marsh. Objectives: 1. Enhance over 6,000 acres of wetlands to benefit waterfowl, marsh birds, and shorebirds.2. Improve public access and provide improved fishing access at the DAM. 3.
