The Northwest Florida Water Management District will receive $1.24 million through September 2025 under a Cooperative Agreement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program (CFDA #97.045). The funding will support efforts to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the National Flood Insurance Program. Specifically, the District will work to strengthen national preparedness and resilience by providing technical assistance to help implement flood hazard mapping and risk analysis. The CTP Program allows state, regional and local partners to contribute data and analysis to FEMA's flood mapping activities to help communities and property owners better understand their flood risks.
