AWARD PURPOSE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT IS TO DETERMINE THE PRESENCE/ABSENCE OF CITRUS PESTS OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE, INCLUDING HUANGLONGBING (HLB/CITRUS GREENING DISEASE) IN GUAM AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS (CNMI). ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED: THE COOPERATOR WILL CONDUCT SURVEYS FOR HLB, TOXOPTERA CITRICIDA AND DIAPHORINA CITRI. SAMPLES OF D. CITRI OR LEAVES FROM ANY CITRUS EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS WILL BE SENT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII FOR HLB TESTING. DELIVERABLES AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THE RECIPIENT WILL SUBMIT SURVEY AND HLB SUSPECT SAMPLE DATA TO USDA.
