AWARD PURPOSE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT IS TO PROVIDE SURVEYS FOR 11 CORN, COTTON, AND RICE PEST SPECIES LISTED ON THE PRIORITY PEST LIST. THEY WILL PERFORM A BASELINE SURVEY USING UNITED STATED DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE APPROVED PASSIVE AND ACTIVE TRAPPING STRATEGIES ACROSS 10 TEXAS COUNTIES. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED: THE COOPERATOR WILL CONDUCT SURVEYS IN CORN, COTTON, AND RICE FIELDS IN 10 TEXAS COUNTIES FOR 10 HIGH PRIORITY PESTS. DELIVERABLES AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THE GOAL TO THIS PROJECT IS TO DETERMINE THE PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF HIGH PRIORITY PESTS OF CORN, COTTON, AND RICE IN 10 TEXAS COUNTIES. SURVEY DATA AND MID-TERM AND FINAL PROJECT REPORTS WILL BE REQUIRED.
