THIS EFFORT WILL BE CARRIED OUT BY THE MAINE FOREST SERVICE DIVISION OF FOREST HEALTH AND MONITORING (MFS). DELIVERABLES AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES: SURVEY FOR EUROPEAN LARCH CANKER (ELC) OUTSIDE THE CURRENT REGULATED ZONE IN MAINE. MAINTAIN PUBLIC AWARENESS OF REGULATORY CONSTRAINTS ON MOVEMENT OF POTENTIALLY INFESTED MATERIAL. PROVIDE PRACTICAL LEGAL OPTIONS FOR UTILIZING REGULATED LARCH HOST MATERIAL TO MAINTAIN PUBLIC AND INDUSTRY SUPPORT FOR APHIS PROGRAMS.
