Description

This project will require conducting the filming (CCTV) of pipes not covered in the SMP and address replacing the missing, fractured, damaged or offset pipes, increasing the size of the pipes where capacity has been identified as a problem and lining the pipes with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that have only minor cracks but still maintain hydraulic integrity to protect them from further decay. The project will prevent further sanitary sewer overflows (SSO's) that have been plaguing much of the city in the recent past. IT will also decrease the amount of inflow and infiltration (I & I) between the sewer system and the groundwater. This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $388,000. Preaward are approved back to 10/01/2017.
