THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FULL FEDERAL FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,500,000. PREAWARD COSTS ARE APPROVED BACK TO 7/1/2023.ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE FULL REPLACEMENT OF THE CHLORINE CONTACT BASIN FOR THE UPPER SAN LEANDRO DRINKING WATER TREATMENT PLANT. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES ARE AN UPGRADED DRINKING WATER TREATMENT PLANT INCLUDING NEW CHLORINE CONTACT BASIN, WHICH ARE EXPECTED TO ELIMINATE CAPACITY LIMITATIONS THAT PREVENT THE PLANT FROM SUSTAINING ITS PERMITTED RATE OF 60 MILLION GALLONS PER DAY (MGD).
