MUNICIPAL REDEVELOPMENT PLANS, THE 2011 NARANJITO TERRITORIAL PLAN AND 2012 LAND USE PLAN, SPECIFY THE REDEVELOPMENT OF EXISTING VACANT AND UNDERUTILIZED URBAN SPACE (BROWNFIELDS REDEVELOPMENT) AS A KEY INITIATIVE, CREATING DESPERATELY NEEDED LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING, AND MODERN COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT THE MUNICIPALITY, BUT PARTICULARLY IN THE TARGET AREAS.
