ACTIVITIES: THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE REHABILITATION OF APPROXIMATELY 5,150 LINEAR FEET OF THE INTERCEPTOR, ENCOMPASSING PIPE DIAMETERS RANGING FROM 48 INCHES TO 72 INCHES. THE REHABILITATION PROCESS WILL UTILIZE A CUTTING-EDGE STRUCTURAL PVC STEEL-REINFORCED LINING SYSTEM, WHICH IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO RESTORE THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF DETERIORATED PIPELINES. ADDITIONALLY, A MULTILAYER POLYMERIC STRUCTURAL LINER FOR 13 MANHOLES WILL BE INSTALLED TO RESTORE THE OPERATIONAL RELIABILITY. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE A COMPREHENSIVE SEWAGE BYPASS PLAN AND REHABILITATION/ UPGRADES TO WVSA'S COMBINED STORM AND WASTEWATER SYSTEMS. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE LIMITING COMBINED STORM AND WASTEWATER OVERFLOW INTO THE LOCAL ECOSYSTEM THEREBY MINIMIZING POLLUTION AND ENSURING CLEANER WATERWAYS. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE THE RESIDENTS OF WILKES-BARRE.
