The key objectives are to adapt the PEARLS program for PLWD/FCs, train CHWs on delivering dementia-capable services, screen 500 PLWD/FCs for dementia, refer those with positive results for diagnosis, screen 300 PLWD/FCs for depression, and provide the PEARLS counseling intervention to 125 PLWD/FCs. Expected outcomes include increased CHW capabilities, more PLWD/FCs receiving screenings and diagnoses, and improvements in self-efficacy and depression for PLWD/FCs participating in the PEARLS program.
