This $5,000,000 Cooperative Agreement award from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas (CFDA 98.001) program aims to increase pathways for rural young people to improve their livelihoods in Senegal's Feed the Future zone of influence. The activity targets agriculture, entrepreneurship, and leadership development, providing both technical and social solutions to youth un- and underemployment. Through partnerships with public and private institutions such as incubators, training centers, universities, and businesses, the project will connect youth to technical expertise and help these organizations provide high-quality, relevant services to the community. The project prioritizes supporting rural youth outside the formal education system and leverages private sector engagement to access resources, sector-specific know-how, and insight into labor market dynamics. The performance period for this award is from September 9, 2024 to September 7, 2029.
