IMPROVE THE RESILIENCY AND OPTIMIZATION FOR DOMESTIC SUPPLY CHAINS IN THE MEP NATIONAL NETWORK IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK.ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED: ACT AS THE NIST MEP SUPPLIER SCOUTING LIAISON FOR NEW YORK STATE; SERVE AS THE GO-TO RESOURCE FOR NY MEP CENTERS AND PARTNERS FOR CLIENT SUPPLY CHAIN NEEDS; FACILITATE REGIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN EVENTS AND MEETINGS; TRAVEL AND CONDUCT ONSITE VISITS FOR NEW FACILITIES; RECORD CAPABILITIES OF CLIENTS; UNDERSTAND THE SELECTION PROCESS TO BRING ON NEW MANUFACTURING SUPPLIERS; AND ADVISE THE OTHER NY MEP CENTERS AND STAFF.EXPECTED OUTCOMES: ESTABLISHMENT OF SUPPORT SYSTEMS TO DISSEMINATE ACTIONABLE DATA TO SUPPORT SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION (MATCHES MADE, SUPPLY CHAINS MAPPED).
