The Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics awarded a Cooperative Agreement totaling $244,825.35 to the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development on October 1, 2025, under the Compensation and Working Conditions program (CFDA 17.005). The award funds occupational safety and health statistics collection and analysis pursuant to Section 24 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and equivalent state laws. Performance occurs in Tennessee and runs through September 30, 2026. The Compensation and Working Conditions program provides, analyzes, and publishes measures of employee compensation including wages and benefits, and compiles data on work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities to assist employers and policymakers in focusing safety and health efforts and to inform workers about workplace hazards.
