About this award

The Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) awarded a $1,000,000 Cooperative Agreement to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to continue the work of the previous OVC-funded Labor Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) grant, Framework, which ended in March 2023. The grant aims to provide effective and efficient TTA to OVC grantees, partners, and community stakeholders to improve the quantity and quality of services offered to labor trafficking victims nationwide.

Key activities under this 3-year (10/1/2023 - 9/30/2026) OVC grant include: revising and maintaining the Framework website to share information on emerging, promising, and effective practices; establishing a mentorship program for new OVC grantees; producing and disseminating new written and e-learning resources; and providing in-person and remote skills-building training. These efforts will address gaps in knowledge, skills, and behaviors related to labor trafficking identification and response.
