The U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) awarded a $500,000 Cooperative Agreement to Search Group, Incorporated, doing business as The National Consortium For Justice Information & Statistics, to provide comprehensive training to Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigators and examiners on combating online child exploitation. The 2-year project (10/1/2023 - 9/30/2025) will deliver hands-on, laboratory-based training on the latest investigative techniques and technologies, as well as evaluate the training to identify best practices for replication by other ICAC task forces nationwide. This effort is funded under the Missing Children's Assistance program (CFDA 16.543), which supports a range of initiatives to prevent child abduction, locate missing children, and provide support services.
