This comprehensive project will involve replacing and upsizing aging water lines, looping isolated segments to enhance system redundancy, and extending service to areas that currently lack reliable access.activities:the activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a drinking water infrastructure project. Workplan activities consist of:replacing aging water lines, constructing or rehabilitating water storage structures, replacing the emergency standby generator and rehabilitating the existing filters, and installing SCADA and remote monitoring systems. Subrecipient:no subawards are included in this assistance agreement.outcomes:the anticipated deliverables include the replacement and upsizing of aging water lines to improve service reliability and reduce the risk of leaks or system failures, as well as the looping of isolated segments to strengthen redundancy within the distribution network. Service will be extended to underserved areas, particularly near interstate interchanges, to support public health and economic development. The project will also replace the emergency standby generator and rehabilitate the existing filters, including replacing the filter media and related components, to enhance treatment performance and reliability. Additional outputs include the construction of new water storage tanks or the rehabilitation of existing structures to maintain consistent system pressure and ensure adequate supply during high-demand periods or emergency events. The installation of smart automation systemsmdash; including SCADA integration, remote monitoring equipment, and automated control valvesmdash; will further enhance operational efficiency and real-time system responsiveness. The expected outcomes include expanded access to clean, safe drinking water for residents in underserved areas of jefferson davis parish, particularly near interstate interchanges designated for future development. By replacing aging infrastructure, looping isolated segments, and extending service, the project will enhance system reliability, stabilize water pressure, and reduce service interruptions. These improvements will also lower the risk of contamination from leaks and pipe failures. Health-related outcomes include reduced exposure to contaminants through modernized infrastructure and improved pressure management. The integration of SCADA monitoring and automated controls will enhance the parish's ability to detect and respond to potential water quality issues, strengthening overall public health protection. Additional improvements, such as replacing the emergency standby generator and rehabilitating existing filtersmdash; including replacement of filter media and associated componentsmdash; will further support consistent treatment performance and system reliability. Behaviorally, expanded access to safe, reliable water is expected to increase public confidence in the system, encourage safer consumption practices, and reduce reliance on alternative or potentially unsafe water sources. Programmatic outcomes include increased system capacity, improved emergency response capability, and more efficient operations through automation. Over time, the project is expected to reduce water loss, shorten response times to service issues, and lower maintenance costs. Quantifiable outcomes may include TH
