The Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul (the Recipient) was awarded a $1,000,000 Cooperative Agreement from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Brownfields Multipurpose, Assessment, Revolving Loan Fund, and Cleanup Cooperative Agreements program (CFDA 66.818). The funding will be used to re-capitalize a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) from which the Recipient will issue loans and subgrants to clean up brownfield sites in the City of St. Paul, Minnesota. The Recipient will also competitively procure and direct qualified environmental professionals to oversee the site activities, create community involvement plans and administrative records, and report on program income, progress, and accomplishments. This work aims to benefit residents, business owners, and other stakeholders in and near St. Paul by facilitating the expansion, redevelopment, and reuse of contaminated properties.
