They will also purchase protective gear including ballistic helmets and air purifying respirators. Acso will purchase night-vision goggles and helmet mounts. A large portion of high-risk, terrorist and criminal activity occurs at night or in light restricted structures/settings. Night vision allows law enforcement to gain an advantage in these scenarios as most suspects do not have access to night vision technology.
