THE MISSION POLICE DEPARTMENT SEEKS TO CONTINUE TO IMPROVE CRIME SCENE EVIDENCE COLLECTION, ENHANCE TRANSPARENCY AMONGST THE COMMUNITY, AND PROVIDE AN OBJECTIVE RECORD OF INTERACTIONS BETWEEN MISSION POLICE DEPARTMENT POLICE OFFICERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THE TOTAL GRANT REQUEST IS $12,134.00, WHICH WILL FUND (6) BODY-WORN CAMERAS, (6) 3-YEAR WARRANTIES, (2) REPLACEMENT BATTERIES, AND (4) EVIDENCE LIBRARY LICENSES. THE MISSION POLICE DEPARTMENT CONSISTS OF OVER 175 SWORN OFFICERS.
