THE PURPOSE IS TO REPLACE LEGACY CAMERAS CURRENTLY UTILIZED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO DOCUMENT CRIME AND SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT SCENES FOR THE CITY OF SACO. PROJECT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE UTILIZING THESE CAMERAS FOR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY OF CRIME AND SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT SCENES. THE EXPECTED OUTCOME IS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY OF SCENES TO PROPERLY DOCUMENT WHAT OCCURRED AS WELL AS EVIDENCE FOUND AND/OR RECOVERED FROM SCENES. THE CITY OF SACO POLICE DEPARTMENT, OUR CITIZENS, THE YORK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, MAINE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE, INSURANCE COMPANIES, AND CRIME VICTIMS ARE THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES OF THE PROJECT.
