WITH THIS PURCHASE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO REPLACE 15 GENERATION 1 AND 2 MDTS AND AN ADDITIONAL 3 OF THE GENERATION 3 MDTS. UPGRADING THESE EARLY GENERATION MODELS OF MDTS WILL ALLOW FOR MORE TIMELY AND EFFICIENT REPORTING BY OUR OFFICERS. THE STARK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WILL USE JAG FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A HANDHELD CHEMICAL DETECTION INSTRUMENT, SUPPLIES, AND TRAINING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SAFETY.
