The following is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul, Minnesota District intends to solicit for a contractor to supply, deliver, and install a new 24’ by 30’ log pavilion, concrete slab, sidewalks, and electrical utilities in the same location as the existing pavilion. The job also includes the removal and disposal of the existing old log pavilion, slab and sidewalks at the US Army Corps of Engineers’ Pokegama Recreation Area located at 34385 US Highway 2 West, Grand Rapids, MN 55744. All work shall conform to local, county, and State laws and codes. The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract with a completion date of June 1, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a size standard of $39.5 Million. This solicitation shall be a Total Small Business set-aside. The solicitation will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) This synopsis is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities (https://sam.gov/content/opportunities) in the near future.
