The Military Sealift Command awarded a firm fixed price purchase order valued at $3.4 million to U.S. Marine Management, LLC for tanker voyage charter services in support of fuel transportation requirements. Under the contract, U.S. Marine Management will provide a vessel capable of loading a minimum of 310,000 barrels of F76 jet fuel in Sitra, Bahrain, then discharging portions at ports in Jebel Ali and Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates as well as Diego Garcia. The services directly support Department of Defense and Department of the Navy fuel distribution operations in the Middle East and British Indian Ocean Territory regions. There was no set-aside designation for this procurement, which aims to ensure continued resupply of naval and military assets operating abroad.
