This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017821Q6680 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attached SF18. The SF18 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Standard Procurement System. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis from PRODYN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. 2709 Vassar Pl NE Ste D Albuquerque NEW MEXICO 87107-1867 items listed on the attached SF18, Request For Quote and Deliverables List. Item # Part # Description Quantity 1 AD-100AR Free-field D-Dot sensor, Aeq = 1 x 10^-1 m^2, GR twinax output connector 4 2 AD-70DR Free-field D-Dot sensor, Aeq = 1 x 10^-3 m^2, SMA(m) output connectors 1 3 Shipping 1 Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. The new probes must be an exact match to those being used to collect data now. Prodyn Technologies is the only company that can provide the exact equipment currently being used. Proprietary rights limit competition. Market research was conducted recently and it was determined that no other manufacturer’s product will integrate with the existing systems, provide the current capabilities, or meet the Government’s minimum requirements. The requested represents the minimum requirements of the government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 2 February 2021, no later than 4:00 p.m. EST. Questions and responses regarding this synopsis/solicitation may be submitted by e-mail to diana.moses@navy.mil to the RFQ closing. Email should reference Synopsis/Solicitation Number N0017821Q6680 in the subject line. Please provide a signed copy of the SF18 accepting the government’s terms and conditions listed within.
