The U.S. Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) awarded a $223,930.00 firm-fixed-price purchase order contract to Advanced Turbine Services, L.L.C., a for-profit limited liability company, for the delivery of 14 flow control valves. The contract has a performance period through January 21, 2025. This procurement was not set aside for any socioeconomic program. The valves will be delivered to DLA Distribution sites in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and Tracy, California. The government determined it to be uneconomical to purchase the technical data or reverse engineer the valves, and is therefore limiting this contract to a single source. Advanced Turbine Services appears to be a prime contractor that routinely provides turbine, valve, and flow control parts, repairs, modifications, and manufacturing services to the Navy and Marine Corps.
