This Sources Sought notice is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the announcement, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources in determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this notice. Responses to the notice will not be returned. Please note that the solicitation number used for this sources sought may be different from the one in the actual solicitation, if a solicitation materializes. The aviation component, 2D Marine Aircraft Wing (2D MAW), has identified a requirement for contractor aviation logistics support services. The contractor shall accomplish 2D MAW objectives in support of Aviation Logistics Department (ALD) in the areas of procedures, administration, aircraft maintenance, aviation supply, aviation ordnance, avionics, Support Equipment (SE) and Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL), and planning. Added: Jun 23, 2016 7:48 am Aviation Logistics Department (ALD) , 2D Marine Aircraft Wing (2D MAW), has a requirement for non-personal in logistical support services in the areas of procedures, administration, aircraft maintenance, aviation supply, Support Equipment (SE) and Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL), planning and web development. The period of performance will be for a base period of six (6) months with tee (3) option periods of tee (3) months each. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with FAR part 13.5. This proposed acquisition will be 100% set-aside for Small business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541614, Process, Physical Distribution and Logistics Consulting Services. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the quoter that provides the quote that is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). Award will be made approximately twenty (20) business days after closing of response period. A complete performance work statement will be included with the solicitation. The solicitation M67001-16-T-0017 will be posted on or about 10 days after this posting and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at www.fbo.gov. All responsible businesses may submit a quote, which will be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website.
