Added: Mar 07, 2014 4:27 pm THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Solicitation number M00263-14-T-0011 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) using the commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. The simplified acquisition procedures are in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72 and DFARS Publication 20140228.The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for one (1) Vehicle Extrication Prop with the following salient characteristics:Extrication prop comes complete with the following features standard: -hood cut panel -mock battery cable cut -engine fire compartment -spread/crush door panel, forced entry door -passenger seat fold down -horizontal bar cut -half roof roll back-cabin fire compartment -trunk fire compartment-vertical var cut-pop the trunk lock-out -pry panel cut/nader pin -roll the dash prop w/lock -upper A-column cut post (2) -lower A-column cut post-fender cut post-wheel fire-Price must include shipping, setup, and training by a manufacturer representative.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332311 and the small business size standard of 500 employees. All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in SF 1449 M0026314T0011 attached to this synopsis. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotes in accordance with FAR Part 12 and additional instructions, conditions, and notices to offerors provided in the attached Section L of the SF1449. The Government award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for the technical acceptability factor as outlined in Section M of the attached SF1449.Any/all questions regarding this RFQ shall be received by this office no later than March 12, 2014 4:00 PM EST.All responsible small business sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award. Any offer, modification, revision, or withdrawal of an offer received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is "late" in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f).Quotes submitted via the U.S. Postal Service shall be mailed to the following address:Marine Corps Recruit Depot - Parris IslandRegional Contracting OfficeAttn: Sgt Fien, BrianBLDG 159, MCRD/ERR P.O. Failure of any portion of the quote to arrive by the stated deadline will result in rejection of the entire quote.Note: Offerors submitting via email must ensure that attachments do not exceed 5 MB; offerors with attachments larger than 5 MB must split their response into multiple emails to meet the 5 MB attachment limitation. In addition, .zip files will be filtered and removed by the MCRDPI firewall.
