Added: Aug 05, 2011 4:14 pm THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M0026311T0095 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 Effective 04 Aug 2011, and DFARS Publication 20110725. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 453998 and the small business size standard is $7 million. This acquisition is for the procurement of 200 Car Emergency Safety Kits. Utilizing FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures the Government intends to award one (1) firm fixed price contract for a total 200 Car Emergency Safety Kits to be shipped to the 1st Marine Corps District, located in Garden City, New York. The contract requirements for this procurement are outlined in Attachment 1. See Attachment 1 for all applicable contract requirements, provisions, and clauses. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest price technially acceptable as outlined in Attachment 1. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotations in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Submission of quotes shall include all information required in the RFQ provided in Attachment 1. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Any/all questions on this RFQ shall be received by this office No Later Than August 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM EST. Question may be e-mailed to anthony.skinner@usmc.mil. The closing date and time for this solicitation is August 12, 2011 at 12:00 PM (EST). Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received, complete, and is legible.
